President and Founder of PREFER Ltd, and subsidiary Back Woods Moola. PREFER is a manufacturer, licenser, and operator of precious metals concentrating and refining equipment. The proprietary concentrating equipment is currently being redesigned to take advantage of process improvements of profitable pneumatic equipment first developed in the 1930s, and refined in the 1970s – 1980s.

Executive Director, Wonder Springs, a nonprofit religious organization that in conjunction with The Creation Leadership Center provides enterprise development services and leadership training based upon natural examples found in Creation and indigenous people groups. Publisher, The Wonder Springs Chronicle, a weekly email newsletter and commentary blog, now beginning its twelfth year.

Project Manager, Chem-Nuclear Systems, was a dynamic rapidly growing public nuclear and hazardous waste disposal and treatment company, where he managed the development and construction of one of the nation’s premier hazardous waste disposal sites in Arlington, Oregon, as well serving as the Proposal Manager for all the company’s technical marketing support.

Environmental Engineer, Resources Conservation Company, a manufacturer and contractor of tertiary industrial waste water and sludge drying equipment. Was the primary process chemist – engineer for B.E.S.T., a patented solvent extraction process, which reduced drying cost for municipal and industrial wastes and sludges.

Research Assistant, Washington State University. Served as primary graduate lead in a major pollution study of the Spokane River Drainage Basin.

Captain, US Army, Army Security Agency. Major duty station Augsburg, Germany. Top Secret security clearance. Spent over 25 months in active personnel command time.

Personal Background

Born in the wheat country of Eastern Washington in the small town of Wilbur. His father was a school principal, serving as Jerry’s principal in both elementary and high school, his mother a homemaker and a bookkeeper. His heritage in Eastern Washington traces back five generations to 1883.

Hobbies include Barbecue smoking, sausage and meat curing, hunting, fishing, photography, and videography.

Received Bachelor’s Degrees in both Education and Biology from Eastern Washington University, a Master’s Degree in Environmental Science and Engineering from Washington State University, and attended the Albers Graduate School of Business at Seattle University.
